GEDDES, NY (WSYR-TV) - You may not be able to take your classic or custom car out for a spin just yet but you can check some out at the State Fairgrounds this weekend.

The 30th Annual Syracuse Motorama is a collection of unique cars from across the northeast.

So what keeps people coming back every year?

"The chrome and the paint and the detail. You look underneath the car there's no dirt," said show promoter Edward Suchon.

"It's just phenomenal what some of those guys do to their vehicles."

You can even try your luck at winning a classic car that was restored by some students at East Syracuse Minoa High School.

The proceeds from the raffle will go toward a car that students will work on next year.

"It's a great program. It really gives you depth on being educated in old cars and the history of cars," said Joe Love, an ESM senior.   "It's really educational."

The show continues Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Center of Progress Building at the State Fairgrounds.

Tickets for the show cost $7 for adults and $3 for children.
