Cops: Shotgun fired during Oswego County break-in

Three men have been arrested in Oswego County after Sheriff’s Deputies say one of them fired a shotgun during a break-in.
Schroeppel (WSYR-TV) – Three men have been arrested in Oswego County after Sheriff’s Deputies say one of them fired a shotgun during a break-in.

According the Sheriff’s Office, the trio broke a window and damaged kitchen cabinets in the alleged victim’s town of Schroeppel residence.

The men were charged with numerous felonies.

They charged Matthew Orman, 29, County Route 54, Pennellville, with first degree burglary, second degree criminal mischief, and fourth degree conspiracy, all felonies.

Dwight Orman, 40, of Volney Street, Phoenix, was charged with first degree burglary, second degree criminal possession of a weapon, second degree criminal mischief, and fourth degree conspiracy, all felonies.

Sheriff’s Deputies also charged 21-year-old Joseph Bartlett of County Route 54, Pennellville, with fourth degree conspiracy, a felony.

The three men were arraigned in Town of Schroeppel Court and taken to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or bond. They are scheduled to return to court on Feb. 13.
