Deputies: ‘Fugitive of the Week’ suspected gang member considered armed and dangerous, 60 previous arrests

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Deputies say our Fugitive of the Week has been arrested 60 times and is a suspected gang member who goes by the nickname “Game.”

The Fugitive Task Force say 31-year-old James Mike was with two other men when they forced their way into an apartment on election night in the town of Salina.

Sheriff’s detectives say that Mike and his associates broke into the wrong home on the 500 block of Galster Avenue, terrifying an innocent man.

“They went upstairs, held him at gunpoint and forced him to the floor, demanding money and held him down, while the others ransacked the apartment,” said Sergeant Bob Conley with the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. “Mike has a long history of weapons and gun possession charges. He's considered armed and dangerous and wanted in the State of Ohio for weapons possession and drug charges.”

Mike is wanted for:
  • Robbery in the 1st Degree
  • Burglary in the 1st Degree
  • Criminal Use of a Firearm in the 1st Degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree
  • Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree
He has known associates on Syracuse’s East Side and in the Jordan-Elbridge area.

Officials describe Mike as:
  • 6 feet-1 inches tall
  • 230 pounds
  • Medium build
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
