Electronic device regulations on airplanes to loosen

ABC News is reporting that an advisory panel is expected to loosen the regulations of using electronic devices on airplanes.
Syracuse (ABC News/WSYR-TV) - ABC News is reporting that an advisory panel is expected to loosen the regulations of using electronic devices on airplanes.

Experts say it is possible that passengers will be allowed to use e-readers and video games in the future and maybe even devices that are in airplane mode.

They say to expect activities such as phone calls or anything that requires data on your smart phone to remain banned.

The FAA said it will wait to issue rule changes until it looks over the panels recommendations in September.
