DeWitt (WSYR-TV) -- Many Karl’s Klocks customers have been waiting for years for their clocks to be repaired at the DeWitt store. A customer NewsChannel 9 introduced you to last week was supposed to pick up his clock on Friday, but the wait continues.

John Pirong was hopeful as he walked up to the storefront to reclaim his clock, but wasn’t surprised when the owner of Karl’s Klocks was nowhere to be found. The clock was a wedding gift to Pirong’s grandparents.

The owner of Karl’s Klocks told Pirong that he’d have the motor fixed and the clock ready for pick up. Pirong tells us he did have the clock, but the glass face was smashed.

“Now it's becoming more frustrating than it probably was before it all started. The fact that it was here on Friday, damaged, and now I can't even get a hold of him,” Pirong told NewsChannel 9.

There was also a payment dispute on Friday, so Pirong tried to pick up the clock on Saturday, but the owner was sick. He's returned every day since, trying to end his two-year struggle to get his family heirloom clock back, though the owner seems to be in no rush.

The Better Business Bureau gives Karl’s Klocks an “F” rating. If you’re waiting for the store to finish a clock repair, we want to hear from you. Call our Your Stories team at 446-9900 or email YourStories@9WSYR.com.
