Group from Utica accused of Sex Trafficking of a Child

Three people from Utica are facing federal charges for their alleged involvement in the sex trafficking of a child.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Three people from Utica are facing federal charges for their alleged involvement in the sex trafficking of a child.

Brother and sister Edward and Lynette Tilden along with Alexandria Samson Davall were charged Wednesday after investigators accused the group of selling a minor to perform sexual acts in exchange for money and drugs.

The group was arrested by State Police back in November along with six others.

Police say the girl was a runaway who the Tildens convinced they could help.

Instead, police say they forced her into a drug addiction and used a website to advertise her.

If convicted each could face 10 years to life in prison.
