Police locate woman who jumped off of Fulton bridge

Fulton Police have located a woman who they believe jumped off of a bridge only to climb out of the Oswego River on her own farther down stream.

Fulton (WSYR-TV) – Fulton Police have located a woman who they believe jumped off of a bridge only to climb out of the Oswego River on her own farther down stream.

Police believe the woman may be emotionally disturbed.

Rescue crews responded to a report of a woman in the Oswego River in Fulton on Wednesday morning.

In addition, they received reports from multiple witnesses indicating that a woman with short blonde hair emerged from the Lock 3 marina and began walking toward the downtown area.

Police say the woman was located walking along South First Street.

She was taken to a hospital for evaluation, but police say no life threatening injuries were evident.
