The New York State Assembly has declined to vote on a bill to approve Mixed Martial Arts.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The New York State Assembly has declined to vote on a bill to approve Mixed Martial Arts.

New York State is the only state in the US that does not sanction Mixed Martial Arts and now MMA fans will need to wait at least another year after a meeting of the Democratic Conference, according to the New York Newsday website.

Two weeks ago Connecticut and Canada both passed legislation permitting MMA events.
