A 5-year-old boy with leukemia is getting his wish to be Batman for a day as the city of San Francisco has transformed into Gotham city for the young crime fighter.
San Francisco, CA (WSYR-TV/ABC News) - A 5-year-old boy with leukemia is getting his wish to be Batman for a day as the city of San Francisco has transformed into Gotham city for the young crime fighter.

The Make-a-Wish Foundation teamed up with the city to make Miles Scott’s dream come true of becoming “Batkid.”

Miles will spend the afternoon rescuing people and catching bad guys.

Batkid saves San Francisco

To top off his afternoon, a villain will kidnap a famous San Francisco mascot and Batkid will be called upon to save him.

After he saves him, the mayor and police chief will present him with the key to the city with a crowd on hand.
