2 Central New Yorkers presented with $6M in checks after winning scratch-off games

Two Central New Yorkers were each presented with $6 million in scratch-off winnings on Friday.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Two Central New Yorkers were presented with $6 million in scratch-off winnings on Friday.

Gary Center from Clay won $1 million for a winning Black Diamond Riches scratch-off ticket, while Wendy Caza of Locke claimed $5 million for playing Maximum Millions scratch-off.

Each of the winners took the lump sum – Center walking away with $549,000 and Caza claiming $3.3 million.

Both winners have modest plans.

Center says he and his wife will pay for their son’s education at the University of Albany and help out some family members.

They’re also planning on a return trip to Aruba for their 20th wedding anniversary.

Caza says she will continue working and buy a John Deere tractor and a snowblower.
