Utica Police conclude Barnes Avenue search for missing 10-month-old

Utica Police spent several hours searching a section of the city in connection to a missing 10-month-old boy on Thursday.

Utica (WSYR-TV) – Utica Police spent several hours searching a section of the city in connection to a missing 10-month-old boy on Thursday.

Police concluded their search in the city’s Barnes Avenue area around noon without results.

They have not indicated what information led them to Barnes Avenue.

Police began searching for Levon Wameling after his father – Jevon Wameling – reported him missing two weeks after last seeing him on May 29.

Levon Wameling has blonde hair and was last seen wearing only a diaper on May 29 at 11:30 p.m. on the front porch of 748 Jay St. in Utica. He is 2 feet tall and weighs 20 pounds.
