Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – State Police are asking you to be On The Lookout for a pair of suspected seafood bandits.

The suspects were Caught On Tape as surveillance cameras captured the alleged incident at the Price Chopper store in the town of Clay. Police say the pair slipped away with hundreds of dollars worth of seafood on June 24th, and despite their best efforts, police have been unable to identify them.

Police believe the suspects scouted the location before making their move.

“Obviously, they were very brazen. They walked into the store - I think they knew exactly what they wanted - they went back to the fish market and got the most expensive items in the case,” explained State Police Investigator Jeff Cicora.

The seafood catch netted $340 worth of lobster and king crab legs.

Police say the men walked out without paying, and in the parking lot, they are seen getting into a red vehicle.

“We're hoping you and your show will put these guys images out there and someone will recognize them and give us a call, and we can solve it,” Cicora said.

If you have any information about the identity of the suspects, you are urged to call State Police in Lysander at (315) 638-8200.
