New York (WSYR-TV) – Two men are facing charges in New York City after an incident involving an alleged bike gang and the driver of an SUV.
42-year-old Allen Edwards and 28-year-old Christopher Cruz are facing charges following the incident, much of which was captured on helmet camera video.
Another biker – 32-year-old Edwin Mieses – suffered severe injuries during the incident. CNN affiliate WBZ reports that Mieses’ family says he is paralyzed and in a coma.
It is unclear whether the SUV driver will face any charges in connection to the incident.
The helmet camera video shows the SUV plowing over several bikers that had swarmed around it.
Video recorded later shows one of the bikers smashing the SUV’s windshield.
The bike gang is reportedly known as "Hollywood Stuntz," which police say occupied Time Square last year.
Police are still investigating the incident.
