1 killed, 1 in critical condition after another double shooting in Syracuse

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - One man is dead and another in critical condition after another double shooting in Syracuse on Sunday.

Syracuse Police say two Hispanic men, ages 34 and 33, were shot multiple times in the 100 block of Holden Street at about 6:15 p.m.

Both victims were taken to Upstate University Hospital.

The 34-year-old victim was pronounced dead in the emergency room.

The 33-year-old victim is in critical condition and undergoing emergency surgery.

Police say they have no suspect information at this time and call the investigation very active and ongoing.

It is believed that the victims along with the other shooting victims from this weekend's violence have all been targeted, according to police.

But, it is unknown at this time if the shootings are related.
