1 seriously injured after truck crashes in to East Syracuse bar

EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Two people are injured--one seriously-- after a truck hit the front of the Bull and Bear Roadhouse in East Syracuse, according to East Syracuse fire chief Chris Shields.

The pickup truck didn’t fully crash into the restaurant, but it did take out the restaurant sign and some lights on the landscaping.

Shields says two cars were involved, but he is unsure of the cause at this time.

Sheilds the area is bad for accidents— this is the third one he knows of recently where a car ended up on the lawn or has taken out a sign at Bull and Bear.

The owner of the restaurant tells NewsChannel 9 that there does not appear to be any significant damage.

Nobody was injured inside the building.

DeWitt Police and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
