13-year-old sworn into the Oneida Police force thanks to Make-A-Wish

ONEIDA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - 13-year old Jordan Barahmeh, of Oneida, has muscular dystrophy, but that hasn't stopped his dream of becoming a police officer.

With help from some people at Make-A-Wish, Jordan was sworn in as a police officer for the Oneida City Police.

He spent the day Tuesday issuing speeding tickets, learning how to use a taser, among other things, with his new partner, officer Matt Collela.
