2 charged in North Syracuse Cyber Café investigation

North Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Two men are under arrest after State Police investigated “unlawful electronics sweepstakes” at the Cyber Café in North Syracuse on Wednesday.

State Police seized $1,279 in cash and numerous computers from the location at 628 South Main St.

They charged Joshua Nelson, 24, of Dayton, Ohio, and Zackary McMahon, 30, of Myrtle Beach, SC, with operating an unlawful electronic sweepstakes, a felony.

The two men were issued appearance tickets.

They are scheduled to appear in Village of North Syracuse Court on July 21.
