2 charged with selling stolen Fright Nights tickets

CLAY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Sheriff’s Deputies have charged two recycling plant employees with stealing and selling Fright Nights tickets that were supposed to be destroyed.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Matthew Euson of East Syracuse and 26-year-old Tiqinn Simpkins Daley of Syracuse stole several sheets of Fright Nights tickets from the plant and cut them into stubs.

The Sheriff’s Office began investigating when Fright Nights operator Grazi Zazzara notified them that phony tickets were being sold on Craigslist and Facebook.

Investigators made arrangements to meet the sellers and learned about the theft from the recycling plant.

Euson and Daley were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree forgery.

Following their arrest, they were released on appearance tickets.
