9 Western New York jail deputies accused in time-card scheme

Geneseo (WSYR-TV) – Nine deputies at a jail in Western New York are facing charges after an investigation into an alleged time-card swapping scheme.

All nine of the deputies at the Livingston County Jail have been charged with offering a false instrument for filing in the second degree:

  • Jose Agosto
  • William Baker
  • Andrew Eichhorn
  • Kyle Fisher
  • Timothy Fraser
  • Jeremiah Pratt
  • Thomas Schledorn, Jr.
  • Michael Simpson
  • Marvin Yamonaco Jr.

They are scheduled to be arraigned in Geneseo Village Court on Monday.

According to WROC-TV in Rochester, the investigation began in December 2012.

Investigators said jail deputies were swapping shifts for cash.

For example, a part-timer working a shift for a full-timer would be reimbursed in cash, but, the full-timer's time card would reflect they worked the shift, according to WROC-TV.

WROC-TV said the deputies resigned shortly before they were arrested.
