(WSYR-TV, Syracuse) April 2014 will end up nearly a degree below normal for temperature.  I started looking at the numbers:  that is our sixth consecutive month below normal since last November.

If it wasn't for a warm October, (Average temperature 3 degrees above normal) we'd have 8 months of below normal temperatures!

You have to go back over 20 years, to have a streak that long.

In 1992, we had 10 consecutive months of below normal temperature, February through December.  Yes, that was the year following the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, when the average global temperature dropped .9°F.
