Arrest made in Kellogg Street homicide

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police have made a quick arrest in connection with a homicide on the city’s Southwest Side last week.

24-year-old Denzel Parler has been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say Parler killed 31-year-old Chevalier Fisher during a dispute.

They say Fisher and Parler knew each other before the shooting.

Police are still investigating the incident.
