LYNWOOD, CA (CNN) - A McDonald’s franchise in Southern California is honoring International Women’s Day in an eye-catching way.
The fast-food eatery in Lynwood, Calif. has flipped its iconic golden arches upside down to make a “W.”
International Women’s Day is celebrated March 8.
There are about 100 other McDonald’s locations around the country that will sport flipped arches today.
All of them are owned by female operators.
The upside down logo will also be seen on packaging, crew shirts, and hats.
