Pom juice is known for its antioxidants, orange juice for it's vitamin C. Now there's CherryPharm. It's a new, all-natural juice that's made from whole tart cherries. Cherries are known for their anti-inflammatory properties, so they're natural pain relievers...
Michael Dobkowski, Director of Business Development: "The Native Americans called cherries the healing fruit and it's those phytonutrients that are in the cherry that makes them so special, again, we're not sure if it's the anthocyanins or what the exact compound is in it but that's what makes it more special than your pomegranate, raspberries, your strawberries."
The juice is made using a special extract process developed by Cornell University that doesn't strip away the phytonutrients and antioxidants. And independent clinical studies show drinking one cup of CherryPharm daily helps protect muscles, lessen pain and speed recovery in athletes.
University of Vermont researchers found people had less exercise-related muscle damage, on average, only 4 percent with CherryPharm versus 22 percent who drank a placebo. And that's only the beginning.
Dobkowski: "We have one current trial that is wrapping up at the University of Rochester that will show CherryPharm helps improve sleep for those who are diagnosed with insomnia."
And even though you'll see the drink has 28 grams of sugar, which may seem like a lot, it's natural sugar from the cherries, and not added sugar. And as an added bonus, the 8-ounce drink counts as two servings of fruit. We give CherryPharm our family healthcast thumbs up!
