Cicero pot growing investigation leads to meth bust

CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - An investigation into a possible marijuana growing operation on Muskrat Bay Road in the town of Cicero led to a meth bust on Thursday, according to police.

Along with marijuana and seven grams of crystal methamphetamine, investigators say they found an illegal knife.

Police charged Mark Ackerman with first-degree criminal possession of a weapon; first-degree criminal possession of marijuana; and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was arraigned and taken to the Justice Center in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or bond.
