Cops: Woman attacked, robbed at Whitesboro ATM

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Whitesboro Police are looking for a suspect who was caught on surveillance cameras attacking and robbing a woman at an ATM outside of a village bank.

The woman was making a deposit at Adirondack Bank on Oriskany Boulevard around 11:30 p.m. Monday when she was attacked, police say.

They say the suspect pushed the woman onto the ground and stole a bag of cash from her.

The victim told police that she was struck by a “blunt object” during the attack.

The suspect was described as man, approximately 5-foot-6 or 5-7 with a thin to medium build.

During the incident, he was reportedly wearing a dark, puffy jacket – possibly a North Face brand – and plaid, dark pajama pants., along with white and dark-colored sneakers.

He was also reportedly wearing a knit ski mask.

The vehicle was described as a white or tan passenger car that was last seen in the Owens Place area behind the bank.
