Cicero (WSYR-TV) - Homeowners in Cicero are being asked to help searchers who began combing through sections of the town at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning, looking for any sign of 50-year old Carol Nee.

The Massachusetts woman was reported missing in December, while visiting relatives in Central New York.

Detectives were told she suffers from paranoia and post-traumatic stress disorder.

She was last seen during the overnight hours of December 8th, at a relative's house on Flatcar Circle in the Town of Cicero. That's where searchers will focus their efforts.

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office is helping members of the Wilderness Search and Rescue Team for a secondary search. Several inches of snow hampered the inital search in December.

Investigators are asking property owners along Route 31 and South Bay Road to check their storage sheds and garages for clues.

Families were notified that searchers may be in the area, through a reverse phone notification early Saturday morning.

Nee is described as being 5' 5" tall, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and green eyes. She was wearing a blue colored "hoodie" style sweatshirt with blue jeans when she was last seen.

Anyone with information about Nee can call the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office at 425-2111.
