Statewide online lottery will distribute tickets to Obama’s second inauguration

A statewide lottery will be held to give out tickets to President Barack Obama’s second inauguration to New Yorkers who want them, according to Sen. Chuck Schumer’s office.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A statewide lottery will be held to give out tickets to President Barack Obama’s second inauguration to New Yorkers who want them, according to Sen. Chuck Schumer’s office.

The Senator’s office will distribute the tickets during a random drawing on Dec. 14.

The deadline to submit requests for tickets will be Dec. 13.

Tickets are provided through Congressional offices and are free of charge.

In order to enter, visit Schumer’s website and fill out an entry form.

According to Schumer’s office, requests can’t be made over the phone because of the volume of potential calls.

Two tickets will be given to each winner.
