Time Warner rearranging digital cable lineup; NewsChannel 9 and 9.2 moving to new channel numbers

Central New Yorkers who watch NewsChannel 9 through Time Warner Cable will soon have new channel numbers to turn to.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Central New Yorkers who watch NewsChannel 9 through Time Warner Cable will soon have new channel numbers to turn to.

Starting June 18, Time Warner will be rearranging the digital cable channel lineup.

All channels below 100 will remain unchanged.

Here are the channels where you’ll find WSYR:

NewsChannel 9 (9.1):
  9, 101, 1200

WSYR 9.2 Me-TV:  1201

Time Warner plans to roll out the new channel lineup at different times throughout the area. Here’s a schedule of when you can expect to see the changes on your TV:

June 18: Syracuse, Auburn, Cortland, Fulton, Oswego, Rome, Oneida

June 20: Boonville

June 25: Hamilton, Tompkins County
