Cicero (WSYR-TV) - The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its search efforts for a missing Massachusetts woman last seen in December while visiting family in the town of Cicero.

Deputies say 50-year-old Carol Nee, of West Bridgewater, Mass., was last seen during the overnight hours on Dec. 8, 2013 while visiting a relative’s house on Flat Car Circle.

Nee, who deputies say suffers from paranoia and post-traumatic stress, has not been seen or heard from since her disappearance.

Members of the Sheriff’s Office along with members of the Wilderness Search and Rescue Team will conduct a secondary search in and around the area of Flat Car Circle on Saturday.

Deputies say the initial search conducted in December was hindered by several inches of recent snow fall, which provided very little evidence.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking homeowners in the area of Route 31 and South Bay Road to check their property, including storage sheds and garages.

Nee is described as:
  • 5’5” tall
  • 140 pounds
  • Black hair and green eyes
  • Last seen wearing a blue colored hoodie-style sweatshirt with blue jeans
In addition to the search, an automated phone call is scheduled for the area Saturday morning.

This call is designed to alert homeowners that the search is taking place and explain the presence of search personnel in the area.

Anyone with information on Nee’s whereabouts is urged to call (315) 425-2111.
