Deputies say they were called to the home of 43-year-old Michael Martin Sr. on East River Road at about 10 a.m. to inspect a suspicious container found in an attached garage.
After further investigation, deputies say they found several items used to manufacture methamphetamine, including 13 gas generators and 4 one-pot meth labs.
Martin has been charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree, a Class A2 felony
- Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the 3rd Degree, a Class D felony
- Unlawful Disposal of Methamphetamine Laboratory Material, a Class E felony
- Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, a Class A misdemeanor
Martin is due to reappear in the Town of Homer Court on May 20 at 4:00 p.m.
