Deputies looking for vehicle involved in Onondaga Hill hit-and-run

ONONDAGA (WSYR-TV) - Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a car involved in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a woman on Onondaga Hill.

Deputies say a woman was walking westbound on the north shoulder of McDonald Road near Velasko Road when a vehicle hit her from behind around 11:44 a.m.

She was found on the side of the road, conscious but with significant injuries.

She was transported to Upstate University Hospital.

The suspect vehicle should have noticeable damage to the front passenger side, deputies say.

Deputies ask that anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has information regarding the crash to call the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 315-435-3051 or by sending a tip using the tip411 app.
