Driver faces manslaughter charges for allegedly hitting Oswego man riding a motorized bicycle

OSWEGO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Faith DeChick, 32, is facing new charges this week after she was arrested for allegedly crashing into a man riding a motorized bicycle on State Route 104 last week.

56-year-old William Todd succumbed to his injuries on Dec. 13, and the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office tells NewsChannel 9 that DeChick has additionally been charged with second-degree manslaughter.

DeChick was initially charged with DWAI, second-degree assault and reckless driving.

According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, DeChick was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe east on State Route 104 near West Lake Road when she struck Todd.

DeChick was released on bail.
