Fugitive of the Week accused of breaking into ex's home, threatening her with hunting knife

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A Syracuse woman is living on edge and police are asking for the public’s help in finding the man she fears.

43-year-old Alex Rebollo-Andino, our latest Fugitive of the Week, is accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s southside home last October-- assaulting her in front of her teen daughter.

“While assaulting her, he also pulled out a large hunting style knife and threatened her life, stating that if he couldn't have her, nobody could. He then proceeded to damage property within the residence, knowing she called 911 and fled prior to police arrival,” said Sgt. Mike Smith with the Syracuse Police warrant squad.

Detectives say Rebello-Andino could be working at a Syracuse store using a fake name.

He is 5’9” and weighs 170 pounds.
