Liverpool (WSYR-TV) - More than 300 people were at Long Branch Park in Liverpool Saturday afternoon for the Salt City Walk for Epilepsy.

The event raises awareness about the condition and supports education programs in Central New York.

Organizers say one in 26 people will develop the condition in their lifetime. Walkers usually raise about $17,000 each year to help Central New Yorkers dealing with epilepsy.
