Investigators trying to ID suspect who allegedly used a lost credit card

CLAY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as they try to identify a woman who allegedly used a lost credit card.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the victim lost his wallet in the parking lot of a Staples store on Route 31 on Dec. 3.

Within two hours, his credit card was used a number of locations in the town of Clay, including TJ Maxx and Kohl’s on Route 31 – and also K-Mart and Herb Philipson’s on Route 57.

More than $1,000 was charged to the card.

The suspect was reportedly driving a black Chevrolet Traverse.

Two children were also with the suspect – one wearing a pink jacket, and another wearing a teal jacket.

The suspect was wearing a black jacket and a camouflage cap.
