DEWITT, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A Jamesville-DeWitt bus driver is facing criminal charges for allegedly slapping an 8-year-old special needs student.
52-year-old Patricia Ansley of Westcott Street in Syracuse was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child on Sept. 25.
According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Friday in the OCM-BOCES parking lot on Crown Road in Liverpool.
Ansley has been released on her own recognizance.
