LaFayette man accepts check for winning the lottery

JAMESVILLE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A LaFayette man who became the latest Central New Yorker to win the lottery when he bought a Jumbo Bucks scratch-off game accepted his check on Tuesday.

26-year-old Colton Harrison decided to take the payment in a one-time lump sum of $529,440 after withholdings.

Harrison has won $2,200 on Quick Draw, and $500 a few other times.

During the check presentation at The Depot in Jamesville, Harrison said he would use the money to pay off some debts and buy a new dirt bike.

Harrison and his father work on landscaping and construction.
