$1,500 award for information that leads to arrest of suspected serial laundry detergent thief

UTICA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The Utica Police Department is looking to identify a suspect who was allegedly involved in multiple larcenies from various Price Chopper locations.

The suspect stole 11 pieces of laundry detergent from the Price Chopper at Auert Avenue on May 8. Police say the suspect also stole 10 laundry detergent and miscellaneous grocery items from the Genesee Street location later that day.


On May 10, the suspect took 21 more pieces of laundry detergent from the Auert Ave. location. 

The suspect was seen leaving the Genesee Street store in a black Volkswagen Passat.

The Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers are offering an award of up to $1,500 for information that leads to an arrest.
