BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Spiedie Fest organizers are touting a weekend full of live concerts, celebrity appearances, hot air balloons and skewered marinated meat.

Details were announced Wednesday at Otsiningo Park for the three day festival that begins on Friday.

The musical lineup includes Dennis DeYoung of Styx on Friday, Blue Oyster Cult and Eddie Money on Saturday and Kellie Pickler and Sarah Evans on Sunday.

Kids will love appearances by the actors who portray Stefan on the Vampire Diaries and Xander from Bunk'd.

Plus the car show, craft show, vendors, cooking contest and all the other activities that keep people flocking to the festival.

"They're coming into our hotels, they're frequenting our businesses. So, all of those are great things, and I know some people come into our county and make summer plans, part of their summer plans. And so this is something that has had a great tradition in Broome County and we need to keep it great for years to come," said B.C. Executive Jason Garnar.

Friday night admission to the festival is free thanks to the sponsorship of Visions Federal Credit Union, although you do need a ticket to enter the concert area.

Tioga Downs is also a major sponsor.

Tickets for all three days are $25.
