TOWN OF LYSANDER (WSYR-TV) - A 22-year-old Fulton man has died, following a crash early Sunday morning in the Town of Lysander.

State police were sent to Lamson Road, near Smokey Hollow Road around 6 a.m., where they found a vehicle that had crashed into a tree off the shoulder of the road.

A recent post on the Lysander Fire Department Facebook page shows a picture of a badge with a black band wrapped around it.

Another post shares the following message:

This morning we lost a brother, a friend, a fellow Fire Fighter. Rest in Peace Joey Donhauser. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. You have answered your final call, you stand relieved. We have the watch.
