4 Arrested in Cortland County Meth Bust

It started as a search for one person wanted by the Cortland City Police Department, and it ended with four people in jail.

On Saturday, July 15th, around 9:00 PM,  officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office went to an apartment on Little York Crossing Road in the Town of Homer. There, they were looking for Stephanie Wiers who was wanted by Cortland City Police for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police say Wiers was at the home and was taken in to custody without incident. While they were there, police also found Travis Hartwick, who was wanted by New York State Parole.
