Amber Alert issued for missing 12-year-old has been cancelled

LYNDON, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - An Amber Alert issued after a child was reportedly abducted near Shady Lane in Lyndon, a town in Cattaraugus County, has been cancelled.

State Police announced on Facebook that the child had been found safe.

New York state officials say a 12-year-old was reportedly abducted around 5 a.m. on Monday.

The alert for her was cancelled before 5 p.m.

She was believed to have been with two teens, who police said were armed.
