Are there Ticketmaster fees at the Oncenter box office?: Your Stories

Customers may notice the company's logo on the side of their tickets

SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) - Fans who wait in line at a box office may want to avoid Ticketmaster fees. So, when a Central New York mom noticed the company's logo on Crunch tickets she recently bought at the Oncenter box office, she wondered if she was charged the fee anyway.

The sales manager tells NewsChannel 9, the Oncenter is a Ticketmaster venue-- that's why buyers might see the logo on various ticket labels.

But, if customers buy in-person at the Oncenter box office, there's generally no extra fee for events they host on-site.

However, Lakeview Amphitheater shows and other properties they serve may be subject to fees, even with box office ticket sales.

Those customers may still be able to save money and lower the fees by buying tickets in-person at the box office, but fees may not be avoided entirely.
