HAMILTON, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Update: Campus Safety personnel say the student was using a glue gun for an art project. Law enforcement confirmed the misunderstanding and released the campus from lockdown.
The college president has asked for a full report of the sequence of events that led to Monday's lockdown. Those details are expected early Tuesday.

Their alert said there is an armed person at the O'Connor Campus Center, better known as the Coop.
911 dispatch tells NewsChannel 9 that they received reports of a man entering the co-op with a gun. 911 says there have been no reports of gunfire or injury.
The university says "find a safe space and remain indoors. If you are off-campus, stay away."
