ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Bill Murray is bringing his collaboration with cellist Jan Vogler to Rochester.
Kodak Hall at the Eastman Theatre will host Bill Murray, Jan Vogler, & Friends for their show New Worlds on Wednesday, April 11.
The show features a singing Bill Murray backed by Vogler, violinist Mira Wang, and pianist Vanessa Perez. The show also features performances of classic literature including writers like Walt Whitman, Mark Twain and Ernest Hemingway.
“We are honored to welcome Bill Murray and his talented group of collaborators to Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre,” writes Mike Stefiuk, Director of Concert Activities at the Eastman School of Music. “Any Bill Murray fan (and who isn’t?) will surely want to attend this special concert. Personally, I’m also looking forward to the possibility of sharing a conversation about our beloved Chicago Cubs.”
