CAMDEN (WSYR-TV) - Families have another weekend of work cleaning up and repairing damage after the latest round of heavy rain, hail, and wind Saturday afternoon.
A quick storm left behind a mess in some areas, like Sto-Ne-Nols Campground near Camden, in Oneida County.
The wind was powerful enough to bring down trees and power lines...damaging camps, boats, and blocking roadways.
In parts of Oswego County, the National Weather Service had reports of hail, three to four inches deep, covering the ground.
The storm also caused power outages for thousands of National Grid customers.
Around 4:30 p.m., more than 4,000 customers were listed on the outage map from the Fulton area to Camden. The same line showed less than 1,000 outages at 8 p.m.
