"American Veteran" is just one of the films on the schedule for Spring Fest, presented by the Syracuse International Film Festival. Top independent films from across New York State, Q&A sessions with many of the filmmakers, and a lot more.  It’s all this weekend at the Palace Theatre.

Folk singer David Wilcox is considered a "Songwriter's Songwriter."  He brings his guitar to town for the Folkus Project's next show, tomorrow night at May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society on East Genesee Street.  Showtime is at 8 p.m.

The Syracuse Chiefs' homestand continues with three games against Norfolk.  Fireworks night is Friday night, and day games on Saturday and Sunday at NBT Bank Stadium.
