CALDER CUP FINALS
The Syracuse Crunch forced a game six in the Calder Cup Finals by rolling to a 5-1 win over Grand Rapids on Saturday night in the War Memorial Arena.
The Crunch now trails Grand Rapids three games to two in the best-of-seven series.
Kevin Lynch got the Crunch off to an early lead, scoring 17 seconds into the game.
Lynch was one of five different Syracuse players to score a first period goal, giving the Crunch a 5-0 lead after 20 minutes.
Mike McKenna made 36 saves in net for Syracuse.
Game six will be Tuesday at 7:00 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Crunch lost the first two games of the series on the road.
