Deputies looking for man accused of violating order of protection, evading officers

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for a man who violated an order of protection and ran from officers.

Deputies say that on Sept. 3, 30-year-old Dale White was visiting his children when he and his estranged wife became involved in an argument.

She called 911 when he became agitated and started screaming. He allegedly grabbed her phone while she was on with 911 and left with it.

His conduct violated an order of protection that was in place from a previous incident.

As officers showed up to the scene, they saw White pulling into a driveway. White got out of the vehicle and fled on foot from officers.

Deputies say White is an escape risk.

He has prior arrests for rape, burglary, endangering the welfare of a child, grand larceny, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal tampering and criminal mischief.

White is 5’08” and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call the Onondaga County Sheriff’s tip line at 315-435-3032.
