Deputies: Norwich man acted as lookout while 2 women broke into home

TOWN OF NORWICH, N.Y. (WIVT-TV) - Three people are facing charges after deputies accused them of a Town of Norwich burglary.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office responded to a burglary in progress complaint in the area of Ronsyl Drive and County Rd 33 in the Town of Norwich on July 15th.

The complainant reported seeing three subjects fleeing a residence and traveling behind neighboring properties.

Deputies say they located the three suspects within minutes - all three were arrested and charged with burglary in the 2nd degree and conspiracy in the 5th degree.

Arrested were: Tiffany Vallance, 25 of the Town of Norwich, Faziem Jenkins, 22, of the City of Norwich, and Russell Button, 21, of the Town of Plymouth.

Deputies say Jenkins and Vallance unlawfully entered the dwelling while Button acted as a lookout for the pair.

Once inside, they say Jenkins and Vallance attempted to steal property from the owners.

All three were arraigned in the Town of North Norwich Court and taken to the Chenango County Jail on $5,000 cash bail.
